Teams are only allowed to have 3 (6-aside) or 4 (9-aside) guest players and/or call ups added to their roster: |
Guest Players (Policy #9 Competitions 1.11.2): For the sake of Provincial Championships, a guest player shall be defined as any player not registered (within his/her Member Organization) with the team with whom they are wishing to compete with in the Provincial Championship.* |
Call-up Players (Policy #9 Competitions 1.11.3): For the sake of Provincial Championships, a call-up player shall be defined as the addition to the roster for a Provincial Championship of a registered player from a lower division or younger age category within a Club/Zone/Member Organization. |
* Guest players are those who are registered with another Member Organization (not SYSI) and wish to participate with a Saskatoon team for provincials. Guest players must be registered with the SSA through their Member Organization, in good standing, and must have permission from their team they are currently registered with to be a guest player. Guest players (as well as call-up players) are to be approved by SYSI. SYSI Non-League status players are not permitted to participate in provincials. Zones found to have unregistered team personnel on their teams' rosters, gamesheets, or bench during provincials may be fined $100 per ineligible coach. All team personnel are to be registered on GoalLine prior to their first season game. |
Rosters must be complete including RIS and NCCP #'s for coaches or roster will be considered incomplete and the team will be fined. If roster is not complete on the deadline a $100 fine will be imposed on the team and the team will not be able to participate in the competition until the fine is paid and a completed roster is submitted. |

All teams participating in the Soccer for Life Youth Championships must declare at least once coach. |
All members of the coaching staff (Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Apprentice/Developmental Coaches) must have completed at minimum the CSA Soccer For Life Coaching Course, NCCP Making Ethical Decisions (MED) module and/or the Making Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation - Competition Introduction, and NCCP eLearning module Making Headway - Soccer. |
