Zone 1: SUSC
Zone 2: Hollandia
Zone 3: Aurora
Zone 4: Lakewood
Zone 5: Eastside

Mini Under-5 to Under-9 players are not bound to zone boundaries. Mini players register with any Community Association (although mini players are encouraged to register with a community that falls under their future youth Zone) **Please note that any player in the Under-9 age group that wishes to tryout for Under-11 soccer must do so in their zone of residence** Click here for How to Register & Zone Contacts.
Effective Indoor 2021-22, Under-17 and Under-19 players are not bound to zone boundaries ~ these players can register with a zone of their choosing.

Out-of-Town Players: 

Players residing within 100km radius of the city of Saskatoon who are part of the SYS District or who are released by any other SSA recognized Member Organization to play within SYS are treated as follows:
 
Players who reside outside the city limits but are between the South Saskatchewan River south of the City SYSI and Highway 16 North are deemed resident in Zone 1 - SUSC.
Players who reside outside the city limits but are between Highway 16 North and the South Saskatchewan River north of the City deemed resident in Zone 2 - Hollandia.
Players who reside outside the city limits but are between the South Saskatchewan River north of the City and Highway 5 extended due east deemed resident in Zone 3 - Aurora.
Players who reside outside the city limits but are between east of Highway 11 and south of Highway #5 are deemed resident in Zone 4 - Lakewood.
Players who reside outside the city limits but are between Highway 11 South and the South Saskatchewan River south of the City are deemed resident in Zone 5 - Eastside.
Under-17 and Under-19 youth players are exempt from the above residency rules for the exception of acquiring a release if they are resident of any other SSA recognized Member Organization.

Player Transfers & Release:

Player Transfers within Saskatchewan

Within a Member Organization (MO) Contact MO for policies and procedures - SYSI Permission to Play Out of Zone Process
Between Member Organizations of the SSA - In season Should a player wish to pursue registration that is outside of his/her home region during a season, he/she/they must request a transfer from a MO in his/her/their home region.
Between Member Organizations of the SSA - In between seasons Between seasons, all players have the right to move from one MO to another. Players must receive a release confirming good standing with the previous MO before participating in soccer activities with a new MO.

Player Transfers Between Provincial/Territorial/National Associations

Between Provincial/Territorial Associations of the Canadian Soccer Association  A player moving from another province must receive written clearance from the Provincial/Territorial Association with which he/she/their was last registered in order to be eligible to register in Saskatchewan.
International Transfers Any player aged 10 or over whose last registration was outside of Canada must obtain an International Transfer Certificate.
