Hello soccer families,
Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. (SYSI) is pleased to announce that registration has opened for Under 15 (players born 2011 / 2012) & Under 17 (players born 2009 / 2010) Saskatoon Alliance Provincial Soccer League (PSL) tryouts. The PSL league provides players from across Saskatoon and surrounding area a tremendous opportunity to challenge the top players from around the province for the title of Best in Saskatchewan. SYSI is proud to offer meaningful league opportunities to players which foster a safe and positive competitive environment, creating a sense of belonging focused on fun, respect, inclusion, and fair and ethical participation.
Outdoor 2026 Saskatoon Alliance Tryout & Team Selection:
Eligibility: All players interested in trying out for the Under-15 and Under-17 PSL teams need to be age eligible unless recommended in writing to info@saskatoonyouthsoccer.ca to play up in age by their Technical Director. Any players wanting to participate in the Saskatoon Alliance PSL evaluations are not required to be registered and participating in the current SYSI indoor season, nor are they required to be participating in the current Indoor 2025- 26 Alliance Academy program.
Deadline: Register by Wednesday Jan 14 with a fee of $75 to SYSI. Early bird pricing is available until Thurs Jan 8 for a fee of $55. Only those registered by the end of day on Wednesday Jan 14 with payment will be accepted into the tryout. Players who are sick or injured and can’t attend tryouts must contact the office, info@saskatoonyouthsoccer.ca, prior to the registration deadline.

Outdoor 2026 Saskatoon Alliance PSL Fees & Season Details:
Saskatoon Alliance Offer Acceptance: Selected players will be notified by Friday Jan 23 and will need to submit $1300-$1600 to secure their spot on the team by Mon Jan 26. Families will be provided with the option to pay the full amount at the time of registration or arrange a payment plan by credit card via RAMP or through the office if they are not able to set up a plan on RAMP. Players unable to commit financially will need to complete and submit the SYSI funding form and supporting documents Mon Jan 26 to determine financial eligibility.
If at any time during the season, communication with the office regarding fees owing is not received then Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. has the right to suspend participation until communication is received with an established plan or all outstanding fees due at the point are paid.
The deadline to submit all PSL Fees is Mon Jun 1 at which point any player with outstanding fees, unless there has been prior communication with the office, will be placed in bad standing and will be unable to train and/or play until the outstanding balance has been resolved.
Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. Refund Policy:
Additional Fees: Team fees are in addition to SYSI PSL fees and will be set at the start of the season by the team staff and collected by the team manager and/or team treasure. Team fees can range from $50 to upwards of $1000 depending on the team. Team fees may include (but are not limited to) tournament entry fees, additional training, Team Apparel, Team Personnel expenses for out-of-team travel for events.
BTB Tournament (Apr 16-19, 2026): ALL Saskatoon Alliance PSL teams will be travelling the weekend of Apr 16-19, 2026 for the BTB Spring Cup in Edmonton Alberta. The tournament entry fee has been included in the PSL player fees, however travel for players and coaches will be additional fees coordinated by the team.
Training: The set established player fees will cover two weekly training sessions commencing April 7th until July 27, 2025. Dates for training will be determined by coach and field availability.
Everton Camp: Teams will be participating this year in the Everton Camp from April 7th-10th (Price TBA)
Games: The number of province-wide entries will determine the number of regular season games. The player fee is estimated to cover 1-2 weekly games starting around May 14th/15th until July 26th Teams should be prepared to play on weekdays and all weekends. The PSL semi-finals and finals are TBA. Families must be prepared to travel to either Regina or Saskatoon to participate in playoffs, and games will not be moved under any circumstance.
Playing Time Policy: It’s the player’s duty to uphold their responsibilities to ensure they get the best soccer experience possible from their time with the respective program. All players must upload SYSI Alliance & Team standards/ethics, to maximize their playing time opportunities, respective at the level of competition.
Sports Science Sessions: The fees will cover one weekly training session for 15 weeks commencing from the week of Apr 6th to the week of July 26th with Ignite Athletics. Dates for training will be determined by SYSI and Ignite Athletics. All PSL players will be required to attend fitness testing (Date TBA); once the date is determined- if you’re unable to attend, please contact Kassidy at info@saskatoonyouthsoccer.ca.
PSL Coaches: Coaching assignments are tentative and will be finalized based on the player numbers.
Club Nationals Oct 7 - 12: Under-15 Toyota National Championships is slated to take place Surrey, BC and Under-17 Toyota National Championships is slated to take place in St. Johns, Newfoundland & Labrador
